Changing Indian politics: Kejriwal invites anti-corruption leaders to join Aam Aadmi team work

Basically India is not a bad country nor people want corruption but greedy politicians and their big business bosses have made India one of the most corrupt nations around.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) wants honest politicians and social activists across the country to join its fold and help the one year-old entity grow rapidly into a serious third political alternative in the country, senior leader Yogendra Yadav said.

AAP leader and senior Supreme court lawyer Prashant Bhushan as the emissary of the then Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal met former Kerala CM and top communist leader VS Achuthanandan at Thiruvanathapuram obviously with  the objective of requesting him to join the  Aam Aadmi team to serve the people. However, both did not disclose the details of their brief chat at the opposition leader Achuthanandan’s residence.  Prashant Bhushan said Achuthanandan is  one of  most respected leaders who  oppose corruption and raised their voice against injustice.  Aam Aadmi considers  the straight forward  90-year-old is a leader of exceptional integrity. “We appeal to more such leaders to join the AAP”

On 19th February, Kejriwal  extended the same  invitation to number of other such  persons of integrity and one of them is the senior cabinet  minister of  Indian government AK Antony against whom  there is not corruption charges though he was also the CM of Kerala state thrice before he was inducted into central  ministry.

Only the persons of genuine integrity alone can save India form corrupt elements that eat  w away all  resources of the Indian  nation, freedom for which  was obtained from Britain upon a very long battle led by Mahatma Gandhi.

Today, unfortunately, the same Congress party promotes both rich and rampant corruption, letting the rich and manipulative corporate loot the nation and making the common people suffer.  .

Did MK Gandhi and thousands of patriotic Indians struggle for independence only to hand over resources to the wealthy powerful guys by privatization processes in the name of effecting efficiency?

Those who fought for freedom from  colonial yoke  are on the streets and those who  enjoyed then continue to enjoy. The governments are at their services for party funds. Shameful!

Then there is the Hindutva brand BJP and its anti-Muslim parties club, secretly collaborating with Congress by targeting Muslims so that they vote for Congress party.

BJP, claiming to be more patriotic than Congress party, also loot the national sources when they rule the nation and states. Illegal mining by Karnataka ministers of BJP  clearly exposes  the criminal mindset of these pseudo patriots and fanatic communalists who win elections by threatening the Hindus in attacking  the Muslims. .

Congress party, which is instrumental in the ghastly demolition of Babri mosque, Islamic heritage in UP, very tactfully also, employs Muslim leaders as chief vote bank agents for the party.

It is in the background of these ugly communal and corrupt practices that people founded Aam Aadmi Party to both protect them and their genuine interests from strong anti-humanity gangs. .

It is in this context that Aam Aadmi Party has appealed all truly pro- leaders to join and serve to save the nation form criminal gangs, further strengthen the popular anti-corruption movement as the genuine national forum. .

As Indians is soon going to  decide their future in the parliamentary poll for  next term,  a joint efforts  by all right thinking people and leaders can teach the  experienced  political corrupts and their proteges in industry  much needed lessons.

With Aam Aadmi and like minded parties ruling India, one can positively look forward to  the establishment of a credibly secular and genuinely democratic system

Aam Aadmi‘s Kejriwal – Hero of Delhiites!

Aam Aadmi‘s Kejriwal – Hero of Delhiites!

-DR. ABDUL RUFF COLACHAL

_______________

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the first ever Indian leader who actually makes sincere efforts to uplift the common people with prestige and privileges, has quit power over the Jan Lokpal Bill issue and remained the most favorite leader of Delhiites as well as Indians.

Indian politicians enjoy the resources of the nation almost freely. They share the wealth and services. They oppose any system or law that does not allow them to loot the resources, take bribes. The way they opposed and dragged the Lokpal Bill in the parliament for years only shows the  corrupt mindset of Indian leaders – at least most of them.

It is a Himalayan shame that Indian regime and parliament are being controlled by Indian corporate and multinationals – not just the major political parties like Congress and BJP large regional parties, but also the regime depends too much on the rich guys, though they are elected by mostly by common people.

Like many of their allies, the Congress and BJP parties themselves got panicky as the Delhi government filed cases against many big guns in both parties. The Jan Lokpal, if passed by the assembly, would make the lives of many more leaders and their financiers in greater trouble.

Hence they successfully stalled the bill in the Delhi assembly and tried to shield the corrupt criminals in all walks of life in India.

It must be mentioned here that Central government ruled by Congress party and allies must feel a big sigh of relief with the Aam Admi government is gone. Kejriwal and his party have been an uncomfortable thorn in the Congress-BJP flesh called political trade.

In fact, the big politicians found the Aam Aadmi Delhi government a big threat to their profitable existence in the capital. They all conspired to force the common man party out of power.

Aam Aadmi party does not have absolute majority and it was ruing Delhi state by virtue of support offered by Congress party. Earlier, AAP was not inclined to form a government due to the fact that it did not have the  number  to  face the assembly vote.

Upon assuming power on invitation from the Delhi Lt. Governor, the Kejriwal government began earnestly to fulfill their election pledges. But the Delhi government knew very well that the Congress party would withdraw its conditional support to the Delhi government at the appropriate time.

However, the early resignation of Kejriwal government has upset all Congress political calculations. BJP’s as well!

Congress and BJP cannot digest when Kejriwal raised the issue of Reliance Company and its corporate owners Ambani brothers who finance the major parties plus they also have their own MPs and MLAs.

As the Delhi government was getting ready with Jan Lokpal bill to be presented to the Assembly, the Congress party and its media scolded the Kejriwal government of the consequences of such a move, meaning the Congress party would withdraw support to Delhi government. Aam Admi Party was not shocked as it had expected all this from a badly shaken congress party. Delhi Lt Governor did not allow the Aam Aadmi government to present the bill and asked the speaker of Assembly not to table the bill.

Thus the Jan Lokpal bill was stalled by the central government and opposed by the BJP party. Kejriwal had on numerous occasions threatened to resign if the bill was not passed.

Implementation of Jan Lokpal was the most important pledge the Aam Aadmi Party had given to the people of Delhi and it wanted to pass the bill in the Assembly. But when the government could not get the bill passed by the assembly, the AAP leaders decide to  quit the  government.

Aam Aadmi leaders thought they have no moral right to continue in power without being able to contain corruption by an effective Lokpal mechanism.

Delhi CM Kejriwal resigned dramatically from his post after 49 days of coming to power as he failed to get his dream bill, the Jan Lokpal, even introduced in the Delhi assembly Friday as both the national parties, the Congress and the BJP, deeply worried about the impact of the Bill on their leaders, ganged up against it. This resignation proves that only a ‘jhaadu waala’ , the party symbol of ‘jadhu’ or broom, can deliver and end corruption in the city, someone said from Hissar, “other parties are not supporting him because they know that if the bill is passed their leaders will land in jail”.

CM Kejriwal has sent the resignation letter to the Lt. Governor, asking him to dissolve the assembly and order early polls to the state.

Congress and BJP are practicing double-tongues.  They asked Kejriwal to resign and now they ask why he resigned.

Funny political cricket promoters of India! Top politicians and other corrupt people do not want Aam Aadmi to stop their illegal business with the regime. Exit of Kejriwal would make them go merry.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation has only raised his leadership profile among the common people of Delhi, the ‘aam admi’, the common man who form his core support base and who believe he will come back to power with a more emphatic majority and play a larger national role after the general election. Flashing the party symbol (the broom) and wearing the trademark side-cap AAP supporters were firm that their fight would continue. “Today’s scenario only reflects that AAP is on right way to win the upcoming elections,” an auto-rickshaw driver.

While some felt Kejriwal should have been given more time, others expressed anguish over their demands remaining unfulfilled. “Who will look after our demands now? We doubt if any other party can even come close to Kejriwal’s work,” Chautala, a daily wage worker, said, reflecting the huge support Kejriwal enjoys among the working class and very ordinary people of this capital city. Many Delhiites  swear that last Friday was an “unfortunate day”. “I was expecting to rejoice the introduction of the bill, but here I am waiting for my hero to resign,” he said.

Delhi youth as well as  across the nation  say their admiration for him has gone up manifold after he took on big guys like Reliance boss Mukesh Ambani. It takes a lot of guts to do such a thing against a big business magnet guy who controls the regime.

Passage of Jan Lokpal bill may not have been a success story at this point of time in the Delhi assembly where the corrupt rouges make the majority but the Aam Admi government already begun good anti-corruption work through various steps and   as such it may be as easy and free as before for the  politicians and others to  indulge in corrupt practices.

Obviously, Delhi people would vote the Aam Aadmi party back to power in due course so that the party and government could complete its anti-corruption plus pro common people programs as they are committed to these ideals.

Delhiites are with Kejriwal, called by some sympathizers as a farishta, in his resignation also. They are sure should be a re-election as people are sure that next time he will win more than 50 seats and get the bills passed without support.

Of course, people will revolt against the ouster of their own government in their own ways and punish the big political thieves in the country.

Not just the AAP supporters, even people from other parties would now vote for the Aam Aadmi party in the general and Delhi elections, as they all see vacuum in all so-called experienced political outfits with strong network infrastructures.

Aam Aadmi party  has shown they will not cling on to power without fulfilling their duties.

Now, Delhiites eagerly look forward to early polls to their Assembly!

Not only Indians but world at large is watching with keen interest what is unfolding in Indian capital.

Kejriwal is the only hope left for India!

Kashmir: an interim solution

 Kashmir:  an interim solution

-DR. ABDUL RUFF COLACHAL

_______________

Kashmiris in Kashmir valley get killed by occupying Indian forces on a regular basis while Pakistan is unable to  stop  the crimes because  it also kills Pakistanis to make the  occupation forces happy as part of NATO-Pakistan deal.

But occupation and crimes in Kashmir are illegal.

Kashmir for years has remained a major flash point in South Asian politics and resolution of the crisis is looked upon as the only way to  make the region peaceful, while good neighborly relations between arch foes India and Pakistan could make the reign tension free and even prosperous, with more nuke arsenals, supported by world powers and IAEA..

World is unanimous on the view that peace in the region is essential for the stability of the region and welfare of peoples in the region and even beyond.

However, existing conditions in the region are not quite conducive for that to happen.

Kashmir is being occupied by three regional powers- one regional super power (China) and two big powers of the region (India and Pakistan). And, none of them is eager to surrender sovereignty to Kashmiris to enable them to remake their lost home.

Worst is the  very predicament of Kashmiris in Jammu Kashmir, Azad Kashmir ans China Kashmir. While Azad Kashmiris have already resigned to their  fate as  being  a part of Pakistan and, maybe most of the are happy  of being Pakistanis; Kashmiris in IN Jammu Kashmir  under India  occupational control  are divided, badly. Many of Kashmiris in JK  are not unhappy  of  being  a par tof India and  are now the elected rulers of JK state under Indian  supervision. The Chinese Kashmiris  have no option but to be in China as its citizens.

Although the destiny of Kashmiris cannot  be foretold right here,  one must agree that they remain the cause of tension and  problem of  instability and target of outside powers. They have no powers and they do exactly want the India, Pakistan and China want  or expect them to do.

The pro-India Kashmir leaders JK  are extra  happy that India takes care of their  huge wealth. Similarly, Kashmiris in Azad Kashmir under Pakistan control  are also a happy with Pakistan for  promoting the  rich  in that  part.

But the  problem arises  when the Kashmiris in Jammu Kashmir who do not  support Indian rule  and would want to  the subject of Pakistan if  there is a possibility.

In fact, it seems all  their struggle for  freedom form Indian yoke is essentially to get  clearance certificate form New Delhi and join Pakistan.  It is almost clear they do not want freedom  and sovereignty from India to  reestablish Kashmir  as it had existed before 1948 when they  all of sudden  found themselves  occupied by  Indian forces. Their struggle  cost very dearly for  themselves with over 100,000 Muslims have been slaughtered by Indian forces, while both China and Pakistan  take the genocides as if  it should only be that way..

There seems to  no news paper or  online portal that  seeks independence for  a sovereign JammU Kashmir. The media in Jammu Kashmir  promote India’s  occupational interests, while those in Azad kashmir  uphold Pakistani  interests as their own.

That is  sad, rather crude aspect of  destiny of Kashmiris.

Like India, both Pakistan and China  do not  want or promote total independence for Kashmiris.

Considering the above said factors, among other important issues, one could suggest the following interim solution to resolve the crisis and end blood bath. .

1. India could  now  full sovereignty over  the Jammu Kashmir under its occupation

2. Pakistan could have complete control over Azad Kashmir to make it an integral part of Pakistan constitutionality as India has done.

3. Those pro-Pakistani Kashmiris could settle down in Azad Kashmir or directly in Pakistan.

4. China can talk of India and Pakistan to decide about the  future of  the now Chinese Kashmiris.

5. UN could oversee the resolution process so that no crisis would occur in future.

The above said solution is the easiest and workable one under the prevailing conditions to save the Kashmiri Muslims from foreign brutalities. People keep sacrificing their valuable lives  not knowing the  real cause.

Of course, this is only a solution and not a judgment on the issue. And, also, it is only a preliminary solution and if Kashmiris of all reigns could ponder over the issues and their own future and decide accordingly.

After the resolution of the Kashmir dispute, in order to promote mutual trust, India and Pakistan should push for greater cooperation and collaboration. Pakistan needs to save the remaining Kashmiri Muslims by stopping to encourage revolt against India by Kashmiri Muslims in Jammu Kashmir

After all, Pakistan is equally accountable for the murder of so many Kashmiri Muslims by Indian brute forces in JK.

Credible peace in South Asia requires an early resolution of the Kashmir issue. It is prime duty of UN to help end the crisis at the earliest.

Enough of bloodbath and tension in Kashmir!

Kashmir: UN plebiscite: a British India mischief, conspiracy against Kashmiris!

-DR. ABDUL RUFF COLACHAL

_______________

UN plebiscite: A British India mischief, a conspiracy against Kashmiris!

One wonders why do the Kashmir freedom leaders in India occupied Jammu Kashmir seek a meaningless plebiscite on Kashmir to decide the fate of Jammu Kashmir which remains fully occupied by its neighbors, India, Pakistan and China. While India and Pakistan are nuclear powers with abundant poverty  in both countries, China is not just a nuclear power but also a veto member of the notorious UNSC defending and promoting all terror wars of NATO rogue states.

First, the UN mandated plebiscite was a British India mischief, and conspiracy against Kashmiris, to fool the Kashmiris maybe on a permanent basis.

Had the UN been sincere in the implementation of the mandate it would certainly have gone ahead to  see that the mandate is fulfilled in true spirits and let the Kashmiris decide  their future that way. But that didn’t happen and perhaps would not happen even in future unless the Kashmiris take the struggle beyond Jammu Kashmir to New Delhi, Washington and London – the centers of colonialist master planners.

Second, the prolongation of the statusquo in Indian brutality in Jammu Kashmir has only benefited India to enter into military ties with many such colonialist nations across the globe. As a result, many countries, including fascist Israeli, sell their waster terror goods to India. And, India terrorizes Kashmiris.

India has also emerged a strategic partner of many big powers, especially USA to strike deals on nukes without losing its traditional nuclear partner Russia. .

The world powers USA, Britain and France only pretended championing the future status of Kashmir to be ascertained in accordance with the aspirations of the people of the JK territory by adopting the Security Council resolution on April 21, 1948. In fact, they began advancing  their  trade  with India by sidelining the resolution and leaving fate of Kashmiris to Indian military forces occupying their  territories. .

Three, Pakistan could not use its close ties with USA and its western allies to influence India to go for the plebiscite. Failed to make the UNSC veto members support the Kashmir issue, Pakistan only managed to get some aid and military goods form USA and Europe.

Without any sincere efforts on the part of UN to implement the mandate, the resolution remains a dead skeleton.

Four,  over years of delay and resolution and  continued occupation of JK,  many Kashmiris have been made Indians and pro-Indians this side, and  Pakistanis and pro-Pakistanis, on the other side.

Five, Like in Azad Kashmir, Jammu Kashmir under Indian occupation also has an elected government, though the elections could be disputed out. This Congress-NC Farooq government in JK always supports India and its illegal occupation and crimes.

Not even once, the JK government made a sincere attempt to bring the issue to international forums. JK assembly has not passed a resolution for their willingness to be free from Indian state.

That would certainly have strengthened the position of freedom fighters.  But India is using the JK government to claim legitimacy of its occupational brutality over years.

All these have happened with ill-fated Kashmiris with tacit support and even authorization of major powers.

If now India were to take a plebiscite in India over the Kashmir issue, the media would take a patriotic prestige issue like many politicians and Kashmiris would lose the case. Of course, a plebiscite inside Jammu Kashmir might help the Kashmir cause to some extent, because India has over years of occupational plus media tactics have neutralized Kashmiris, terrorized and silenced.

The wrong ideas of joining Pakistan  have not  made  their case  easy- in fact it has harmed them greatly.

Now the plebiscite has no relevance and Kashmiris should seek full and complete freedom from India.

Kashmiris could take the UN diplomatic route to obtain a positive resolution. The freedom struggle should reach New Delhi where there is a humane government of Delhi has assumed office recently.

Maybe that is not sufficient now.  Some protests should take place in front of embassies of India all over India, especially in veto and NATO nations.

India needs some external pressure exerted on it to be able to act and resolve the Kashmir issue. .

Indian poll politrics:: They now target Aam Admi Party!

-DR. ABDUL RUFF COLACHAL

_______________

Common or Aam Aadmi people, who form the majority of vote banks in India, have been  badly misused by the political parties to promote their corporatist private interests.  Not only the common people are  supposed to exercise their franchise to  save “democracy”,  but also  come in big numbers to meetings where leaders address to  outsmart their opponents and loot the resources.

Aam Admi Party emerged as the first ever party to  take up the genuine interests of common people last year.  After winning the Delhi polls, now it seeks mandate of people of India, disillusioned with political parties playing with them, to cleanse the nation’s politics, the disillusioned parties like Congress and BJP have begun targeting the new party by various usual gimmicks employed in Indian politrics.

The AAP government said it would launch a “pol khol” (expose) campaign against the BJP and Congress, the two most important national parties that have ruled India, to expose their “conspiracy” against the Delhi government.

Big parties are seeking to  somehow contain the rise of AAP at national level. As Indian parliamentary poll is nearing, the national parties like Congress and BJP that have stakes in the national poll politics have now focused on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) which was voted to power by Delhiites.

They make the same accusations they hurled against the party   during the Delhi poll saying the Aam Aadmi Party has no history and experience. Delhi people elected the new, inexperienced part without big finances to govern them in t its own popular ways. They are misusing the AAP leaders to agitate against the party and CM Arvind Kejriwal.

It is obvious, once the election dates are announced there would be a stream of serious politicians among other anti-corruption people joining the AAP all over India, strengthening the roots of genuine democracy in India.

So,  already, there is a  deep rooted conspiracy to make AAP unpopular in the eyes of  national India so as to make people  do not  throng  towards the new party without any strong national infrastructure.  People are generally impressed by the new party’s performance in the poll and post-poll governance of Delhi state.

Pro-corruption conspiracy

As people lost hopes for  corruption free  governments both at the centre and states  Aam Aadmi Party came as a boon for the common people of India.

Indian rulers and leaders just enjoy politics along with the benefits it offers and corruption and other crimes have come to stay in Indian political sphere. .

Most MPs and MLAs, if not all, who thrive by supporting the rich and corporate lords, do not want to get rid of rampant corruption harming the cause of common people.

In the December 2013 Delhi assembly elections, the AAP won 28 seats in the 70-member house and formed the government with the outside support of the Congress that had won eight seats.

The political parties had expected the new AAP also go ashtray by becoming a corrupt party like others.  But the new party has its now new ethics in politics.

This worries our happy politicians who know all routes of wealth making.

.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has accused the BJP of trying to bribe some of its MLAs in a bid to topple its government in Delhi. The AAP alleged that Narendra Modi in collusion with Arun Jaitley was trying to topple the one-month government. AAP MLA Madan Lal in a press conference said he was offered Rs. 20 crore to be a part of the BJP government.  Madal Lal said he got a call on December 7, 2013, from a international number saying that they wanted to fix a meeting with Arun Jaitley. He also alleged that a man approached him saying that he will be made the chief minister of Delhi if he could get another nine people to join the BJP.

Madal Lal refused to buy the BJP stuff. Arun Jaitley denied having  tried to bribe  Lal.

Blackmailing tactics

A Delhi legislator Vinod Kumar Binny, who  began criticizing the Kejriwal leadership  when he was denied a ministerial berth in Delhi government.  Binny as later expelled from the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for anti-party activities,  he and Janata Dal-United (JD-U) MLA Shoaib Iqbal have threatened to withdraw support to the one-month-old government if it did not agree to their demands. The duo, who also announced launching of an independent political outfit, demanded the rollback of six-eight percent power rate surcharge, supplying daily 700 litres of water without any condition and probe against the corrupt people named by the party in its poll campaign.

Of AAP’s 28 lawmakers, one was elected speaker and another MLA, Binny was expelled for anti-party activities. Iqbal and an Independent extended support to the AAP in the assembly. They set a deadline of 48 hours for the AAP to fulfill the demands. “If our demands are not met, we will be forced to re-think the support we have given,” Iqbal said in a press conference.

Binny also claimed to have the support of three other legislators, including an Independent who had supported the AAP government during the crucial vote of trust.

Meanwhile, another disgruntled former diplomat and AAP founding member Mrs. Madhu Bhaduri quit the party with a blistering attack on what she called the Arvind Kejriwal- led outfit’s “anti-women attitude”. Her resignation came two days after she was allegedly heckled at AAP’s National Council meeting for seeking to move a resolution apologizing to the Ugandan women allegedly harassed by Law Minister Somnath Bharti in a midnight raid of a secret mignight house last month.  “I am disappointed and disillusioned. The party said the matter will be investigated. When Arvind Kejriwal took oath, he said two things; one that people should neither give bribe nor accept it. And then he sang a song about humanity. But if humanity is the basis of this party, then what happened on the intervening night of January 15 and 16 was a big blow to humanity,” Bhaduri said, referring to the Khirki Extension raid. My issue is not whether Bharti should be removed or not. My issue is humanity.  Women are human too but this party is not treating them like human beings,” Bhaduri added.

Bhaduri’s contention, however, found few takers even among the party’s women leaders. AAP MLA Bandana Kumari said the party is working on issues of female security and education. “We are working towards forming female/ mahila commando teams and female education is our priority. Also, we as women are free to say anything in the party. The party does not stop anyone from expressing their mind,” said Kumari. “Women are respected the most by the party,” fellow party member Ashutosh added.

Promise kept

Upon winning the Delhi poll,  Aam Aadmi leader and CM Arvind Kejriwal has already begun fulfilling all poll promises.

AAP spokesperson Dilip Pandey also refuted allegations that Bhaduri was heckled at the National Council meet. She said something that the party did not agree with, and was not a part of the agenda of the meeting. Therefore, she was asked to stop as others were waiting for their turn to speak.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh said at a press conference that the Delhi government had fulfilled some of its assurances to the people and on the remaining it was taking steps to fulfill them.  Sanjay Singh said the Delhi government has kept its poll promise on slashing electricity and water bills and on launching an anti-corruption landline. He said the BJP is worried about AAP’s popularity and the work done by the Arvind Kejriwal government.  “Because of our anti-corruption helpline people are scared of taking bribes,” he said, adding that their demand for a Special Investigation Team (SIT) on the 1984 anti-Sikh riot was part of its poll promises. “For 30 years, Sikhs have not got justice. We promised a SIT, and now big leaders are worried what will happen.”

Sanjay Singh alleged that BJP leader Arun Jaitley, Harsh Vardhan and others “are trying their level best to pull down the AAP government. He alleged the protest by expelled AAP MLA Vinod Kumar Binny and two other MLAs was part of a game-plan. He said the AAP has come to learn through “top secret source” that Jaitley in the coming days along with “media friends will try to tarnish the government. They will try to show bribe taking and take all steps to defame our government.” He said for the first time the people of Delhi feel some hope with the AAP government “but the BJP wants to stamp it out and pull down the government”.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) members on February 04 protested outside BJP leader Arun Jaitley’s house following which BJP workers too hit back and held a counter-protest against the party, particularly targeting Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Big cheats

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal last week read out his list of ‘India’s most corrupt’, and it included high profile politicians from the Congress, the BJP and their allies, and urged his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) members to treat this year’s general election as a revolution to cleanse the nation’s politics. Kejriwal’s list included many leaders and politicians cutting across the political spectrum of the nation. BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, Nitin Gadkari, Sushil Kumar Shinde, Praful Patel, BS Yeddyurappa, Anant Kumar, Veerappa Moily, HD Kumaraswamy, Salman Khurshid, Annu Tandon, Tarun Gogoi, Kapil Sibal, Mayawati, Mulayam Singh, Sriprakash Jaiswal, Pawan Bansal, Farooq Abdullah,  sport meet manipulator Suresh Kalmadi, A Raja, Alagari, Kanimozhi, and Naveen Jindal.

Addressing a party meet ahead of discussions in the Delhi cabinet on the party’s proposed anti-graft Jan Lokpal Bill that seeks to punish corruption with a maximum sentence of life in jail, Kejriwal said: “Don’t let a single corrupt politician enter Parliament.” “We have not come to play politics; we have come to remove corruption. Our aim should be that not a single corrupt person exists in parliament,” he added. He further said they need to change all this as they have not come just to fight in the elections for minting money or making wealth for leaders.  “The people of the country will fight this election. We are providing an option to the people of the country, and the country has to work to make sure that not one corrupt person is elected to parliament,” he added.

Observations

Government-people relations are shaped by the contemporary systemic trends like demographic change, water stress, resource competition, among many other factors.

The widening gap between people’s expectations and the capacity of governments to meet them is the outcome of harmful perceptions of selfish and greedy politicians.

Governments must realize that in today’s competitive environment, institutions and states that are not agile were condemned to becoming obsolete.

While seeking to address the problems the Delhiites and Indians face today, AAP should also consider debating feasibility of its projects in the light of possibilities available to it. It should also consider the ways of amending the present situations.

Delhi government should should unhesitatingly use all available resources for the people’s sake and uplift.

Anti-Common-man Party forces are now targeting the Delhi government and obviously they were expected to do it any time since the assumption of office by the Aam Aadmi party led the Delhi government.

These anti-people forces have been waiting impatiently to see AAP fail in delivering the poll promises. But they are disappointed as the Kejriwal government began fulfilling the pledges given the Delhiites one by one.

They had expected the Kejriwal and ministers would begin enjoy life, but the new leaders without any ruling experience began living simple life like ordinary people.

As far as inner party quarrels are concerned, such areas but natural in view of the present political situation when individuals enter politics to make money and so the AAP must have serious debate inside the party to sort out differences.  Members should keep the people’s and state’s interests about personal ambitions.

AAP must reconsider if the demands placed by Binny, who is annoyed with Kejriwal for not making him a minister, really merits attention.

Consensus and positive considerations can resolve all problems amicably rather than rigidity.  Where possible, accommodation should be preferred without harming the party ideals. Since people’s concerns are  more importance than personal interests,  none should  aim to be at the helm of affairs  permanently- a fact  that all parties  follow an at  the cost of common people’s , nation’s  genuine interests.

Aam Aadmi Party needs not  entertain the corrupt and greedy elements but at the same time  prefer  people to should responsibilities  who  do not have personal or private interests in the party and unwilling to  comprehend the party  ideology which is entirely different form the  routine ones  now prevailing in the country.

Aam Admi Party is mandated to create a new political culture not just for Delhi but for the nation.

But one thing is certain: the common people in India are on the rise now!

Kejriwal  ah snot yet began vising other state capitals to  convey his message to Indian masses as MK Gandhi had it  long ago.

AAP has a duty to assure the common masses of their place in India.

Time does not wait for any body, please!
